Don't over brush your hair! Brushing 100 strokes to make it shine is a myth! So is "Lather, Rinse and Repeat" which is just a way for the product company to get you to use more of their product. You also can NOT mend split ends -- period!

All you need is a few strokes (of the hair, of the HAIR!) to style; any more than that can possibly damage the hair. Use a COMB instead of a brush, when combing wet hair -- and DO NOT comb from the roots to the ends. Rather, comb out the ends first with a de-tangler.

Don't ignore your scalp. If you massage your scalp regularly, you will stimulate blood flow which is good for your hair. Incidentally, if you're worried that massaging your hair will loosen dandruff, then you have a dandruff problem. Don't ignore that either. There's nothing more unsightly on a sissy than dandruff flakes. Use products that have salicylic acid, zinc, selenium sulfide or tar to eliminate flakes.

I don't like to be hairy. PERIOD!

I keep myself smooth all over, 365 days a year.
I use a Women's Shaver to get close all over. Then in 1 week, when the stubble is out, I use my Lady Epilator. The feeling is exquisite!


I start with my toes and feet, then work my way up to my calves. I work very slowly around my belly area with my epilator (shaving will leave bumps -- OUCH!). I like a clean bikini line.

For my armpits, I do the same: 1st shave, then a week later, epilate.

I am hairless around my backside and bum. It's painstaking, and you should be agile enough to do some slight contortions and stretching, but it is well worth the smoothness.

I do use the epilator on my hands, even. I'm one of the lucky ones who have fine hair in the first place, but anyone can achieve smoothness. If you haven't tried it, what are you waiting for? I guarantee you, there is no feeling like nylon stockings and silk panties agains smooth smooth skin.
